As a formal expression of their collective will, the Tri-Parish Council unanimously approved the following two resolutions on Tuesday, November 6, 2001.

RESOLUTION 1

To the men and women of the United States Armed Forces battling terrorism, we support you, we love you and we thank you.  Your sacrifice is appreciated.  Our thoughts, our prayers and our hearts are with you and your families.

RESOLUTION 2

To all U.S. Veterans, we thank you. 
You have served your country well.

The Tri-Parish Council unanimously approved a motion Tuesday, November 6, 2001, endorsing the following prayer.

Lord, we pray for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces
May their cause be a just one
May their courage not falter
May they show mercy to their enemies
May they be triumphant and earn victory
May their efforts bring the blessings of peace
Protect them with your shield of love
Return them safely, we humbly pray
