He also reported that he did a radio announcement regarding out Lenten and Easter schedule of church activities. The cost was $100 for 25 announcements.

Old Business:

Heidi is still working on finding sponsors for the Lighthouse Catholic Publishing magazine.

There have been some water issues. There are repairs that need to be done.

Work on the Church Directory is going well. Sign-ups are continuing. Pictures will be taken in late April and early May.

Monies made at the Fall Festival are used for building maintenance.

Father will continue to announce at mass that one trustee and two council members are up for election. Loretta Lechner (trustee) and Pat Koll and Lori Van Buren (council members) terms are up this summer.

Christian Formation: as reported by Lori Van Buren

Reports were made on Mardi Gras night (a success), the Facebook page, First Communion (5), Confirmation (9) and the Children's Liturgy on Sunday, which is going well. There will be a need for up to 5 religious education teachers in the fall of 2017.

The complete minutes of all meetings of this committee are on file with Lori.

New Business:

Father is looking into a license for an on-line program (form.org) that parishioners would be able to access. It would offer various things such as programs on lives of the saints, messages from the pope. It would be an at-home option for all parishioners 24/7. There is a license requirement which costs $1680 per parish. Father is checking to see if we could combine St. Joseph's Church in Waupun with Annunciation Church in Fox Lake under one license.

Human Concerns Committee wants to honor Father on his 40th Anniversary to the priesthood. A catered meal on May 21 is planned. Parishioners are asked to sign up so an accurate count can be determined for food ordering purposes.

An Installation Mass for Father as the pastor of the two parishes is on hold at this time.

Roses will be available on Mother's Day.

Father is looking to replace the outside sign with a more updated digital version, one that could be accessed remotely for timely announcements.

Father has been in contact with Father Michael Erwin of Beaver Dam regarding future Confirmation dates. There is discussion of possibly having Confirmation in the fall for seniors in high school.

The next Pastoral Council Meeting will be June 15 at 6:30 pm.

The meeting ended with our reciting the Our Father.

Respectfully submitted,

Mary Bestul
