Pastoral Council Meeting
November 13, 2014
7:00 p.m. Fellowship Hall, St. Joseph's Church
Father Michael Wild was ill and could not attend. An opening prayer was prayed and we decided to read the committee reports so they could be published on the website.
Old Business: Lori gave Sister a recommedation for a camera
There are no bibles left from last year
New Business: Christmas parade Dec. 2, Christmas program Wed. Dec. 17
Will check into activity for Halloween
Old Business: Camera not purchased yet. Christmas parade Dec. 2, 6:30p.m.; plan to have float, cookies and cocoa after.
Christmas program Dec. 17; practices and rehearsals set
Harvest fun night will be Sat. Nov. 1st after 4:00p.m. Mass; potluck, games and fun.
Rollerskating on hold.
Old Business: Youth day was fun. 3 attended

Christmas parade Dec. 2, Burk's will provide wagon, Lori will register float

DRE report: Confirmation retreat went well
New Business: Teen night in January after mass from 5-10p.m.; being planned by Junior Class open to 7-11 graders
November: Golden club discussed and being continued
2 funerals in October
SVDP 3 requests in October; SVDP spent $30,129 in the fiscal year for referrals
Crop walk raised a little over $3000; a portion of that stays here in Waupun
St. Joseph's did the food pantry meal Nov. 7 and Nov. 14
Nov. 20 Agnesian and St. Joseph's sponsoring Grieving Through the Holidays event
Remembrance mass was Nov. 5 and was well attended
Prison ministry desperately in need of volunteers, check bulletin
Synod report of new standards to be implemented HC doing well already
Cookie plate assembly and delivery Dec. 13 & 14
Prayer and Worship
P & W budget discussed
Plans made to purchase Advent daily reading booklets for adults and children.
